Three things for November 15

Three things for November 15

1. At least five injured after a school shooting in Santa Clarita

A shooting took place on Thursday morning at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita. Multiple people are reportedly injured from the incident and two have been pronounced dead.

Santa Valley sheriff’s office informed civilians in the area to avoid going outside.

“This is an active shooter situation,” they tweeted. “If you live in neighborhoods anywhere near Saugus Hughes, PLEASE LOCK DOORS AND STAY INSIDE. If you see suspect, male dark clothing, in backyards, etc. CALL 911.”

The suspect has reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

2. Former Massachusetts governor announces run in 2020 presidential race

Deval Patrick has just joined 17 other Democratic nominees for the 2020 presidential race.

Patrick announced his presidential run in a campaign video posted online Thursday morning and joined “CBS This Morning” soon after to explain why he decided to get involved.

“You can’t know if you can break through if you don’t get out there and try,” Patrick said.
