1. Maryland man killed in fight over Popeyes chicken sandwich

Maryland police responded to an incident at a local Popeyes on Monday night after reports that a man was fatally stabbed. 

The altercation was said to have started after the perpetrator cut in the line for one of Popeye’s chicken sandwiches. 

According to AP News, police are calling for the assailant to step forward during this time.

2. Nine U.S. citizens killed in Mexico

Three mothers and six children were the victims of what police believe to be an ambush by a prominent Mexican drug cartel.

President Trump spoke about the tragedy early yesterday, proposing war on the cartel. 

“This is the time for Mexico, with the help of the United States, to wage WAR on the drug cartels and wipe them off the face of the earth. We merely await a call from your great new president!” Trump tweeted.

3. Trump Administration withdrawing from the Paris climate accord

The Trump Administration recently announced the United States’ formal withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement. 

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced the decision on Twitter Monday evening.

This makes the U.S. the first country to pull out of the accord.
