Dr. Rice Broocks, author of “God’s Not Dead”, and Dr. Ming Wang, founding director of Wang Vision Institute who’s story was featured in “God’s Not Dead,” visited Lee’s campus on Tuesday, March 21, in the Conn Center. The session included a step-by-step presentation of evidence of God’s existence as well as a Q&A session for students to interact with Broocks and Wang.

“We’ve spent our lifetime defending God against skeptics,” Broocks said prefacing the session.

The presentation of evidence included topics that systematically debunked statements from atheists using situations that cannot be explained by scientific reasoning. Broocks specifically spoke of visiting an atheist convention where Lawerence Krauss, a prominent figure in atheism, was the keynote speaker. Broocks served as the skeptic and really grew to understand the atheistic point of view. Wang also spoke of his own experience of traveling to the United States and his radical turnaround to becoming a Christian when he began to study human embryos.

So far, God’s Not Dead events have been conducted on over 100 campuses in over 25 nations. Broocks hosts the event along with invited guests and plans on reaching many campuses in the future.
