Professor Preview: Dr. Daniel Hoffman
Dr. Daniel Hoffman has been an Associate Professor of History here at Lee for fourteen years.
Hoffman, who grew up in New Mexico, now enjoys reading and taking long walks, with his wife of twenty years, Linda whom he likes to call “Beautiful.”
Some of his other hobbies are collecting coins and playing Bridge of which he has obtained the rank of Life Master.
Some of his favorite books are J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.
His favorite movies include The Count of Monte Cristo, Casablanca, and Home Alone.
Hoffman’s favorite era is the second century A.D. Favorite historical figures include Trajan, Elizabeth I, and Martin Luther.
Hoffman has traveled extensively to several countries including England, Scotland, Ireland, Egypt, Mexico, and Jordan.
Another interesting fact is that Hoffman has just recently purchased his first motor scooter. So drivers beware, professor on scooter!!!
