Making it all Clarion clear

Making it all Clarion clear

This just in: News that reaches you faster is good news. The Lee Clarion has traditionally printed approximately six issues every semester, but in a hectic and rampant school year, covering the news as fast as possible makes it all the more worthwhile.
Student media is about connecting students not just through print, but with online galleries, video reports and digital web multimedia. Getting involved with the school newspaper suddenly isn’t just writing any more. There are so many ways to get involved with the Lee Clarion:
• If you’re interested in sending letters to the editor, submit 200 words or less via the form available at LeeClarion.com or e-mail a video letter to letters@leeclarion.com.
• Send us your two cents. In 30 words or less, give your opinion on any topic. It’s a quick, simple and effective way to be heard on campus.
• Have an idea for a story or a tip for an editor? E-mail it to leeclarion@leeuniversity.edu.
• Get involved directly. Do you have a love for multimedia, broadcast or journalism? Put your skills to work shooting and editing video, getting stories, photos and illustrations published online and in print, and experiencing page design. Submit an application at http://snurl.com/studentmedia.
The coming year will bring many changes as the Lee Clarion introduces a web video platform for Lee University and aims to provide daily updates online at LeeClarion.com. We’ll keep you up-to-date as the semester progresses. Afterall:
The Lee Clarion is more than a newspaper. It’s your source.
