Choral Union transforms under new director

Until this year, Choral Union functioned as a required ensemble for music majors and minors; however, under the leadership of first-year faculty member and Assistant Professor of Choral Music Dr. Cameron Weatherford, Choral Union aims to be a meaningful choral experience and an inclusive community for music and non-music students alike.

For the past three years, Lee Boxing club has hosted Night of Champions by bringing together Greek clubs to compete in the ring. The competitors have been training at Five Point Boxing in preparation for the event. The event will be held during Homecoming weekend, and is open to all students and faculty.

Imago Dei: reflecting on one year

Imago Dei, a student-led movement based on curating intentional conversations, celebrated its one-year anniversary last week. Imago Dei began as inspiration shared between three students — Kat Lange, Dhuranique “Dhu” Ferguson and David Williams — who saw the need for change and an opportunity for Lee to grow.

Photo Essay: Dorm Wars 2021

On Monday night, Oct. 25, Dorm Wars returned to Lee’s campus. The night featured a couch parade, new obstacles for the teams and the return of traditional challenges. The on-campus residential dorms competed in several challenges to claim victory for their dorm and win money for nonprofit organizations in the local community.

Lee clubs come together to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage month

National Hispanic Heritage month, a celebration meant to pay tribute to the history, culture and descendants of relatives from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America, is celebrated from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. The Leetinos club and the Mosaic Council recently came together to celebrate the representation of Hispanic culture within Lee’s community at Culture Fest on Sept. 24.
