Lee University to host annual “Classic Christmas” event on Dec. 7

Lee University’s highly anticipated annual “Classic Christmas” concert will take place on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3 p.m. in the Conn Center.

The performance will feature a variety of Christmas music including “Carol of the Bells,” “Christmas Hymn,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” and “It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas,” among other favorites.

Several of Lee’s vocal and instrumental ensembles will be featured, including Lee University Choral Union, directed by Dr. Kay Dick; Lee’s Symphony Orchestra, directed by Dr. Leonardo Rosario; and Lee Chorale and Ladies of Lee, both directed by Dr. Cameron Weatherford.

“We are thrilled to welcome our community back to this year’s Classic Christmas,” said Weatherford. “We can think of no better way to begin the Christmas season than gathering for an afternoon of music. We’re thrilled to see two new conductors – Dr. Kay Dick and Dr. Leonardo Rosario – make their Classic Christmas debut.”

This year's Classic Christmas is sponsored by Cleveland's leading downtown bank, the Builtwell Bank, formerly Bank of Cleveland. Under the leadership of Scott Taylor, the Bank of Cleveland has sponsored the event for the past six years. In 2025, Taylor and the Builtwell Bank are once again helping present this popular event to the community with no admission charge.
