Lee University Greek week delayed

CLEVELAND, Tenn. — With inclement weather moving into the region on Friday, Jan. 23, Lee’s Greek club induction weekend has been postponed. Induction weekend events will commence as scheduled Thursday, Jan. 29 through Sunday, Feb. 1. This was confirmed by several Greek club representatives. The Office of Student Life issued this statement on Jan. 22:

“Good evening, Lee Flames!

We wanted to let you know that Tap Night and Induction Weekend has been moved to NEXT week due to inclement weather coming in this weekend. Our number one priority is always your safety and we believe this move will allow all students to have a safe and meaningful induction next week. 

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate factors out of our control.”
