Summer 2026 Global Perspectives Trips
The Lee University Global Perspectives Program is one of the University's core graduation requirements, designed to bring light to various cultures around the world. This gives students opportunities to serve, learn new languages and engage with other cultures.
From the Europe Study Abroad trip to the Lee Singers’ trip to New Zealand, 14 groups of Lee students served around the world during the summer.
Global Perspectives opens the doorway for life-changing impact to take place. As a junior pre-med major, Nick Jones had a memorable experience on the Honduras Medical Missions trip.
“Watching every member of our team come together to care for a baby with severe pneumonia is something I'll never forget," Jones said.
Dr. Jeffrey Sargent is the Director of Global Perspectives and International Programs. Sargent led the Europe Study Abroad trip, stating:
“The experience provided a meaningful opportunity for genuine cross-cultural exchange and engagement. Lee students participated in thoughtful classroom discussions with their European peers while developing greater cultural, social and spiritual awareness through shared experiences and relationships.”
