Lee University to present annual Faculty Gala
CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Lee University’s School of Music will present the Faculty Gala featuring Lee’s vocal and instrumental faculty on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Pangle Hall.
"The Faculty Gala is always the highlight of the year for the School of Music,” said Dr. Lenena Brezna, associate professor of voice at Lee and event coordinator. “It is a wonderful opportunity to share our outstanding faculty with students and the community.”
The Faculty Gala will showcase a variety of vocal and instrumental pieces, featuring works from a variety of composers including Alain, Bellini, Bonneau, Britten, Rachmaninoff, Schumann, and Verdi.

The vocal performances will feature Delores Berry, soprano; Dr. Chery Brendel, soprano; Dr. Ron Brendel, tenor; Brezna, soprano; Ivy Drake, soprano; James Frost, tenor; and Debbie Sheeks, Soprano.
The instrumental performances will be presented by Amy Goodman, piano; Dr. Nathan Keedy, saxophone; Dr. Jesse McConnell, tuba; Dr. David Mosher, piano; Dr. Joanna Pepple, violin; Irina Polyakova, piano; Dr. Leonardo Rosario, violin; Dr. Vanessa Wei, piano; Alan Wyatt, saxophone, joined by Shawn Perkinson, guitar; and Evangeline Wykoff, organ.
