Back to school at Lee

The fall semester is already off to a great start at Lee. With a few weeks having passed, students have already made new friends, joined new clubs, and adjusted to new routines. 

During Orientation, new students got acclimated to their new surroundings. From U-Church to Deke Day, new and returning students experienced community at Lee in a variety of ways.

President Dr. Phil Cook opened the first chapel of the semester, already singing and encouraging students to be open to encountering God.

“I always really like the first chapel of the semester. Getting everybody together brings energy and momentum,” said Cook.

Originally set to take place during Orientation, Club Lee was held on the first Friday of the semester. New and returning students took to the South Campus Quad to explore the many clubs and organizations that Lee has to offer.

The Voices of Lee performed at the following Chapel service.

As the school year progresses, students will continue studying, forming new relationships, and living out their Lee stories.

“When you look back on the year, my prayer is that you’ll remember something deeper. I hope you can point to moments when you encountered God,” Cook said.
