Get connected: Cleveland college ministries

Getting acclimated to campus life is a part of the college experience. At Lee, one aspect of this is spiritual formation. There are many ministries in Cleveland geared toward college students and young adults that are more than prepared to equip students during their time here at Lee and onward. The following list is in in alphabetical order:

1.) Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM)

This ministry is open to all and you do not have to be under the Baptist denomination to participate. The BCM is a student organization for both Lee University and Cleveland State Community College. Monday night service at 7 p.m. The BCM can be found right across the street from Cleveland State at 1475 Norman Chapel Rd NW.

2.) Central Church of Christ Young Adult/College (YAC)

YAC seeks to support college students through what can be the most foundational time of their lives. Their students help in service projects and ministries in the area. On Wednesday nights, they hold a bible study at 6:30 p.m. at 200 25th Street NW. 

3.) First College

A ministry at First Baptist Cleveland, they meet on Tuesday nights for service at 7 p.m. After services, students fellowship while sharing food or drink. They are located at 1275 Stuart Rd NE.

4.) North Young Adults (NYA)

Found close to the Lee campus, this ministry meets at the Dixon Chapel. It is an extension of North Cleveland Church of God. They seek to inspire young adults to live in the fullness of Christ. The ministry meets on Thursday nights for service at 7 p.m.

5.) Westmore College and Young Adults (The West)

Stemming from Westmore Church of God, the West seeks to cultivate the giftings of the Lord in its students. They meet on Thursday nights for service at 7 p.m. They are located at 2450 Legacy Parkway NW. 

6.) Westwood College and Young Adults Lifegroups

These small groups are the ministry extension of Westwood Baptist Church. They seek to help in the relational, foundational application of scripture and to build up leaders in Christ. Their Lifegroups are held on Sunday nights at 6 p.m. and are located at 4001 Georgetown Rd NW.
